Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalLeadership isn’t a title. It’s a presence, a quiet force felt long before a word is spoken.
In Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Kishore Pariyar draws from a 34-year journey through crisis rooms, human conflicts, and silent victories to reveal a timeless truth: people don’t follow authority; they follow authenticity.
Rooted in real leadership moments lived inside and beyond institutions, this book blends old-school wisdom with modern emotional intelligence. It takes you where leadership is truly tested, when the lights are off, the pressure is real, and policies alone fall short. Through stories of courage, the author shows how compassion can steady a crisis, how self-awareness can defuse conflict, and how empathy often outperforms any rulebook.
Written for young professionals stepping into leadership, managers striving to earn genuine trust, and seasoned leaders who know experience alone isn’t enough anymore, this book serves as a guide for those who want people to follow them out of respect and connection, not fear.
Because leadership is human.
And emotional intelligence is how we honour that humanity.
