Dr Namita Singh, HOD/Associate Professor, Dept of Foods and Nutrition, college of Home Science, Central Agricultural University, Meghalaya, received her Ph.D degree from Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh. She has fourteen years of teaching, research and extension experience on topics of nutrition science. She has finished different projects funded by agencies like Indian Council of Medical research and central university. She has contributed extensively to world nutrition literature with publications appearing in the journals of preventive and social medicine, tribal health bulletin, Food science research journals, Asian Journals of Home Science, Indian Pediatrics etc. She has worked specifically on tribal health and nutrition.
