Dr. Mukund Paprikar was born on 04 May 1944 in Dharangaon, Maharashtra. After graduating from Furgusson College, Pune he completed his M.Sc. in Zoology from Pune University. He earned his Doctorate from Mumbai University. He headed the department of Biology at Birla College, Kalyan and was one of the founder faculties of the college.
