Mr. SANTIAGO AROGYSWAMI SELLADURAI was born on March 18, 1914, Retired Sales Manager, Webbs Sales, and Service Private Limited Bangalore. Sri S.A Selladurai was unanimously elected as the President of the Bangalore YMCA. He served as President. His contributions during his tenure as a Board member and as President are many. He led the Associations with vision, building up a better understanding, guiding the Association during critical days. His profound understanding of people, his wise counsel always prevailed over in many situations. He served as Chairman of sub-committees of the Bangalore YMCA like Personnel, Finance, and Rural Work Committees. He was a devout Christian and served many other Christian organizations in the city like S.C.M., United Theological College, Diocesan Council, and his own church, Memorial Church for many years. His contribution to society in general, and to the Christian community in particular, will be cherished and remembered by all those who came to know him. This book narrates the growth of the Church in India through many Christian organizations pre-Independence and Post-Independence of India which my grandfather Late. Mr.Selladurai served.
