Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalWhat happens when love grows quietly between ward rounds, bike rides, late-night calls, and unsaid fears?
Some Stories Are Meant to Remain is an intimate, slow-burn love story set in the corridors of medical college — where two young souls learn medicine by day and each other by night.
Yug and Sidhi don’t fall in love dramatically.
They grow into it.
Through laughter, silence, fights that don’t end things, and moments that change everything.
But when life begins to test them — with failure, distance, overthinking, and timing — love stops being simple.
It becomes a question.
Can two people grow together without growing apart?
And if love doesn’t last forever… does it still matter?
Tender, honest, and deeply human, this novel isn’t about happy endings.
It’s about real ones.
Because some stories aren’t meant to continue.
They’re meant to stay.

Dr. Yogesh Chelani
Dr. Yogesh Chelani is a doctor and debut author whose writing is rooted in lived experience and emotional honesty. Trained in medicine, he has spent years observing human behavior in its rawest forms — through academic pressure, personal loss, relationships, and moments of quiet reflection that often go unnoticed.
His work explores themes of love, growth, memory, and timing, with a particular focus on how people change while trying to hold on to what matters. He believes that not every story needs a perfect ending to be meaningful, and that some relationships leave their mark simply by being real.
Some Stories Are Meant to Remain is his first novel.
Yogesh currently practices medicine and continues to write.
