Surprisingly a horror story is also included in the series. Medhini derives the substance and materials mainly from the environment, community and human relationships. Everyone has feelings and emotions and when they are put into words, poems or stories are evolved. Medhini
Born in Mangalam village in Tirur, Malappuram district, Kerala. Parents are late Smt. Kalyanikutty Amma and late Shri. Govindan Kutty Nair. Writes poems, stories and articles (in Malayalam and English). Poetry collections in Malayalam are "Mizhiyeerppam", "Orizha" and "Nina Padukal". Stories like "Kalikkoppukal,""Karutthirunda Meghangalude Rodanam" and children's stories "Balakathakalum, Kurunkathakalum" have been published in Malayalam. Her English works "Deafening Silence" (Collected Poems in English: vol:1) and "Undying Love" (Collection of Poems in English: vol:2) have received many awards. There are collective works with multiple authors’ stories and poems in Malayalam and English. She has won the first prize in the Malayalam story writing competition of Pottekhat Memorial Committee (2024)
She is also the winner of the English Horror Story Competition, held by Femihive.
She has won the Jury Award for Malayalam Poetry conducted by Ee-malayalee Kavitha Malsaram 2024.
