Veer Shinde is a trader, storyteller, and Founder of TradesMen , based in Pune, Maharashtra. His journey into the markets began in 2021 not with a winning streak, but with a series of hard-hitting losses that challenged his discipline, patience, and self-belief.
Like many self-taught traders, Veer didn’t start with structure. He started with YouTube videos, social media noise, and the hope of fast profits. But the market was a brutal teacher. Over time, he realized that his biggest battle wasn’t with the charts it was with his own mind. Emotion, excitement, ego, and revenge were taking more money than any red candle ever could.
After losing a significant portion of his capital, Veer made the decision that would change everything: he stopped chasing strategies and started studying himself. He began journaling his trades, tracking his thoughts, and learning what it meant to trade with purpose rather than impulse.
In 2023, after turning his performance around and reaching consistency, Veer Founded TradesMen alongside his close friend Dhimant Shukla. Together, they launched trading education sessions specifically designed for teenagers and young adults focusing not on indicators, but on the psychology that truly separates winners from the rest.
His debut novel, Two Traders: One Mistake, One Method, was born from this personal transformation. Rather than writing another strategy guide, Veer chose storytelling creating fictional characters that represent real emotions every trader experiences. Through Rick and Carl, he explores the internal conflicts that destroy accounts: FOMO, revenge trading, and fear-based exits.
Veer believes stories are powerful mirrors. His goal with this book wasn’t to preach it was to reflect. Because sometimes, the most honest way to teach a trader… is to show them themselves in someone else’s story.
Outside of the markets, Veer is passionate about mentoring the next generation in financial literacy, emotional discipline, and mental resilience. He continues to write, trade, and speak with the goal of bringing clarity and confidence to traders across India and beyond.
