Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe clocks were ticking and, the design & requirement of IC is also changing. The basic remains the same but due to non-renewable natural energy resource, the types of fuel used in I C engine is also changing. The requirement of I C engine has also changed with time. However, due to lack of suitable textbook students and aspirants of competitive examinations are getting difficulties in fully appreciating the basics and applications of IC engines. I am sure that this book could fulfil the need.
I have tried to cover all the topic related to the syllabus of AICTE including the design changes occurred in automobile sectors at present time. Chapter 6 has written to focus on the upcoming changes in engine fuels due to severer pressure on conventional fuel of IC engines.
Chapter 15 is dedicated to the numerical approach to I C engine. Most of the questions are taken from the question papers of different all India level competitive examinations. If students or aspirants go through those numerical then definitely get the idea of designing an I C engine and trend of questions asked in those examinations.SI units have been consistently used throughout the book.
During writing this book I have kept in mind what our recent students and aspirants expected to get from this book. Much recent research and development done by reputed automobile companies are also included to accumulate knowledge parallel to the time elapsed in technology.
