Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalLife is a single journey, but she lived two!
Every morning Gloria is faced with unforgettable nightmares. The brutal killing of an interracial couple by the whitish King makes her feel shattered as she always tries to connect herself with them.
Her mind always wanders to know the reasons for her existence in Faithosia, a place of black citizens where nobody resembles her. One fine day she finds out that she has to succeed the throne to become the much awaited whitish Queen of Verisimilia, a place where she actually belongs.
This journey from Faithosia towards Verisimilia gives birth to another journey when she finds out that her true soulmate is none other than her childhood crush, Oreo, a black warrior of Faithosia. He gives all his support and guidance to help her reach her goals.
Though her life remains cursed with all the miseries she has to face, the only healer that remains is true love.
Will she be able to achieve the purpose of her life? Will she ever be able to fulfil all the promises she gave to Oreo during the journey? Will Oreo and Gloria ever get married against all the odds?
Shefali Kumar
After leaving her corporate job in 2015, she ventured into various fields until she found out her true passion towards writing. Though she also writes poetry and quotes which she shares on social media, this is her debut novel. She conceived the idea for this story while she was travelling home after an arduous day as a lawyer. Being a history lover, her mind wandered and brought her to meet Gloria & Oreo in her imagination, thus, inspiring her to pen down this story. An effort is also made by her to throw light on some real incidences that occurred during 18th & 19th century in the history of racism. Apart from writing, she is a profound dancer and loves to travel.
