Mahalaxmi Naidu

Mahalaxmi Naidu is an emerging poet and fiction writer. She hails from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu but was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her academic credentials are sociology, literature and human resources management. Currently settled in Dubai, UAE, she is working as a Human Resources Professional for a Dubai-based company. She has been writing poems from a very young age. In her college days she was an active member of the Literature Forum, wherein her poems and articles were virtuously featured in the college bulletin. Her poems like Life’s Ride, Dare to Dream, Act and Imagination Rules the World were also featured in the local journals in Dubai, which received positive reviews.

Mahalaxmi Naidu’s writing throws light on the philosophical outlook of mankind but is not limited to this specific subject. Her strong and hard-hitting voice articulates the gender bias and various gender-related issues in India. She believes that the education is the only way out to eradicate gender discrimination and the societal abuses allied to it.
