Sankarampadi Aravamudhan
Dr.. S. Aravamudhan obtained Ph.D., degree from the Chemistry Department of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India (1975 http://www.angelfire.com/art3/saravamudhan/thesis_sa.html ) and was a Max planck post doctoral research feloow at the Max planck Institute, Jahn Strasse Heidelberg,(1975-1977) and a Scientific Collaborator at Free University West Berlin(1077-1978) in the then west Germany. Was a Scientist (1979-1982) at the NMR facility at National Chemical laboratory, PUNE India Was a Research associate at IIT/Kanpur and Subsequently joined Department of Chemistry, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, India as Faculty member (April1985) and is currently a Retiree Professor since 30 November 2006. Research interests include Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (Phenomenon, Theory and Instrumentation) and Computational Quantum Chemistry.
