Professor Fathima Kutty Kapil M.A Ph.D. retired as Former Head of the Department of History and Archeology, She obtained her Doctoral degree from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. She is the author of the following books

2) Education and social change in India Vizagapatam district 1854 to 1900 ISBN 81-7027 - 144 - 4
3) Agrarian policy in India east Godavari district 1925 to 1947.
Books are mainly based on archival material collected from different Archives of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. This book is authored with experience gathered over the years and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, with examples from the Bible.
She has attended more than 60 International/ National conferences and seminars participated in the deliberations and presented papers. She has published several research articles in various leading journals like Quarterly review of historical studies, Itihas, etc.
She was born to Mohammad Kunhi Kapil, a Muslim father and Indukuri Ramanujamma a Christian mother. She had to face many challenges while growing up. She chose to be a Christian and accepted Lord Jesus as her personal Saviour at the age of sixteen.
She lives in Visakhapatnam and is known as Prema Varaprasada Rao in her friend’s circle.
