Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal‘Cinderella in Slippers’ talks about all the experiences that every human goes through without romanticizing it. Then you’d wonder why should I read something which I go through? Exactly because at every sentence, every chapter you’ll either exclaim in excitement about it being relatable to you or you won’t be able to hold in your laugh at the incidents. You would also wonder then why would it be named ‘Cinderella in Slippers’. What if the princess is one among us? What if she doesn’t experience the two extremes? Neither an ill-treating family nor a perfect knight in shining armour. What if the princess experiences love like us, how does she learn that you don’t always need a knight in shining armour rather you can become your own savior? What if the princess suffers through mental illness and sits in her sweatpants and messy bun on low days instead of always shining and glittering to please the world?
