The Dark Blue Sea, Shruti Rathi’s debut poetry collection is a metaphorical journey of self-discovery. Seeped in mysticism, the verses have thought-provoking ideas and evocative imagery. The poems are an exploration of human emotions, self-love and spirituality weaving a blanket of surrealism in an inspirational and cathartic release.
Shruti Rathi
Shruti grew up watching the incessant waves and glistening sunsets from her childhood bedroom window when she started writing poetry. Her pragmatic bent led her to dabble in journalism, design and business. However after 15 years, a romantic at heart, she found her true calling in the magical world of words and spreading the message of self-love through her writing.
Currently, she lives in New Delhi with her family. She is a stay-at-home mom, a writer with a pot of green tea on her desk, a yoga enthusiast, a traveller, a seeker and a dreamer. She doesn’t live near the sea anymore, but the sea lives in her.
Shruti’s poetry is inspired by human emotions, nature, the cosmos and spirituality.
