Dr. Partha was born into a middle-class family in a remote village called Bamundi, Assam. Through periods of hardships and financial struggle, his parents insisted their son see his potential and that they never let circumstances get him down. His hard work continued through high school where he stood fourth in the Assam Board Exams followed by medical school at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh and post-graduation in Internal Medicine at Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati.
