The natural fibre composites have created much interest among the researchers due to their low cost, easy availability and enhancement in their properties. Many plant based natural fibres like banana, sisal, hemp, jute, oil palm, coir, kenaf etc. have been studied extensively by the research community. Sansevieria Trifasciata fibre is one such plant based leaf fibre which has not been explored to a greater extent by the research fraternity. The cellulose content of this fibre is almost near to 80% which means it could be a potential replacement for synthetic fibre, as it could enhance tensile strength and other properties. The main objective of this book is to utilize the Sansevieria Trifasciata fibre as a potential reinforcement along with matrix composites. Unsaturated resin is used as matrix because of its low cost and easy use.
