Dhinam Oru Thirumandhiram Paagam 1 : Paayiram

Author Name: Thamarai Selvan | Format: Paperback | Genre : Religion & Spirituality | Other Details

Thirumoolar is a great sage of yore of Tamil origin who had a message from God, which had to be passed on to mankind without prejudice to the time or age he belonged to.

The Almighty has a plan; no one knows what he is up to! The Almighty selects certain people from various parts of the world to pass on His message, not a conflicting message but a common one.

It was Moses says the Bible; it was Mohammed Nabi says Islam; it was Siddhartha, says Buddhism; and so on and so forth. Each of them was chosen to express the great ideals of God's messages with that touch and tone of the land that each one belonged to.

Thirumoolar is one among them, chosen in the Tamilian race by the Almighty. This has been asserted by Thirumoolar, as is usually done by the apostles, in his own words:

Transliteration of Tamil text:

Ennai Nandraaga Yiraivan padaiththanan

Thannai Nandraaga Thamizh Seyyu maarae

Meaning:

Me, having been begotten by the Almighty so well

To explain Himself in that excelling Thamizh experience so well.

Thirumoolar himself claims that the words of God were sent down in 18 languages and they all carry the same meaning.

This book makes an in-depth study on the meaning of each verse and explains it to a normal Tamil layman. It decodes some universal truths and brings out the exact meaning of the verses.

This book is the first of a 10-part series and is an introduction to the Thirumandhiram.
