Vivek Sahney is the resident of a small city, Hoshiarpur, in Punjab. It is also known as the city of Saints. Vivek Sahney is a well-known name in the field of North Indian music. He is the third generation who has been trained in Indian and Western music by his father Prof. Tej Bahadur Sahney and Prof. SD Sharma. He belongs to Kirana Gharna and Agra Gharana of Indian music. He is a great writer and has written two books on music.
