Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIn historical fiction, the past seems to whisper, urging us to journey across time and explore the many facets of human experience. "A Journey Through Time" is more than a collection of stories; it is an expedition that spans millennia and honors civilizations and those who shaped them. As the narrative's architect, I sought to revive ancient murmurs. Each story in these pages is a labor of love and research to bridge the gap between then and now and uncover history's shadows. The desire to embrace human diversity led to the exploration of Kaundinya, Pallavas, Cholas, the British Raj, the Tibetan Empire, Vijayanagara, Bijapur Sultanate, Delhi Sultanate, Gypsy nomadic trails, and the Rashtrakuta Empire. These stories are intertwined with our rich heritage. The silent prologue calls us forward with eons' murmurs. It paints a realistic picture of victories and sorrows through empire and cultural narratives. This collection invites you to enter time, see history unfold, and interact with the men and women who once roamed this earth. I hope these stories will entertain, encourage inquiry, empathy, and a greater understanding of human history.
