Sridhar Ramachandran
Sridhar Ramachandran currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer of IndiaNivesh Renaissance Fund, a turnaround private equity fund based at Mumbai.
Coming from a humble family background in Chennai, Sridhar started his career as a typist and an accountant in a real estate firm at the age of seventeen immediately after school. Since then he moved up the ladder post his professional qualifications into various roles starting from finance to strategy to CEO levels of medium to large manufacturing companies across India, Rwanda, Indonesia, South Africa, and Hong Kong.
After his return to India in 2008, he was involved in investment banking that included debt restructuring, M&A and private equity. He has successfully turned around a few companies along the way.
During his career spanning over three decades, he had worked with many visionary entrepreneurs, traveled to over twenty-five countries and interacted with more than thousand promoters across various sectors and consulted many about liability management that helped him to gain tremendous experience.
He contributes articles on liability management, turnaround, bankruptcy and related subjects to financial dailies including Economic Times and is frequently quoted. He has given lectures to various business and financial forums.
Sridhar lives in Navi Mumbai with his wife Asha and two sons Srisha and Arsha.
