Ethnomathematics is a dynamic, holistic, multidisciplinary, and cross-cultural
discipline. It is based on the realization that, how academic mathematical knowledge gets appropriated in various societal contexts. Hence, Teachers must personalize, contextualize, and derive mathematical knowledge from the culture of the learner; in order to give it a meaning. This Book is a series of action researches to use some cultural elements in classroom.
The Book starts with an orientation to art and culture in context of Indian mathematics which comprises chapters 1, 2, and 3. The next nine chapters dealt with the action researches taken by the author to integrate cultural representations in mathematics classrooms for better achievements.
