Can we help? The challenge to faith is clear. To deny the ability to respond is to confess spiritual bankruptcy, and to admit that after all material issues are the only ones that count.
There is only one answer possible to us, if we believe that the Great Commission is still binding. GOD IS READY, and has shown this clearly in the way in which these millions, crushed for centuries under the iron heel of caste, are now willing and eager to be taught and baptized-God is ready, even in this time of straightness, to prove that He is equal to all emergencies, and that this our extremity is His opportunity. But the essential conditions must be present faith in God, and surrender to Him of lives and wills. Of talents and means.
