“Fundamentals of Rural Sociology and Educational Psychology " is written with a view to focusing the attention of scholars, administrators, political and social workers, and others, on hitherto the neglected subject in India. It attempts to emphasize the importance of studying systematically a domain of social reality which has been either totally ignored or bas commanded insufficient attention.
Indian society is overwhelmingly rural. However, as yet, a systematic, synthetic, and interconnected account of the rural social organization and its developmental tendencies. has not been presented. In the initial chapter of this book, I have tried to bring out why there is an urgent need for the study of Rural Sociology in India.

Dr. Satwik S. Bisarya did his Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana, M.Sc. Agriculture Extension, 2013, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday University and B. Sc. Agriculture, VBS Purvanchal University He is the Assistant Professor of Transfer of Agriculture technology at IES University, Bhopal. He is an award-winning teacher who specializes in teaching organizational behavior, entrepreneurship development, management, power and influence, and negotiations, as well as training and development at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He published many research papers in many journals/conferences at both the National and International levels.
Ms. Shreya Tiwari is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agriculture Sciences, IES University Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). She has acquired her graduation from CSJM, Kanpur University, Kanpur in 2015 and post-graduation from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan in 2017.
