Born on 26th October 1963, Odisha, India, graduated from Government College of Textile Technology Berhampore, Murshidabad (West Bengal), obtained, P. G. Diploma in Marketing Management from Annamallai University (Tamilnadu), served a number of key industries in the Textile sector and at present teaching Textile Technology and Garment Design. Hailing from a traditional Vedic family reputed for the study of Shastras (he is son of illustrious Vedic scholars Er (Dr.) Priyabrata Das and Vidushi Shanno Devi), Shri Das was trained from his childhood on ‘Kalpa Vedanga’ like Grihya Shutra and Shrouta Sutra. He has been conducting all Vedic Samskars like marriage, upanayan with lucid and scientific explanation of the textual procedures for the great benefit of the public since last two decades. Author of many books, Shri Das is a prolofic orator on Vedic Pholosophy and has contributed a number of useful articles on social and religious issues in popular newspapers. He is a regular speaker in All India Radio on the tenets of Vedic Shastras and is associated with the activities of Arya Samaj and Vaidika Anusandhan Pratisthan, Bhuabaneswar.
