The anthology ‘Glory of Indian Independence’ is a compilation of fifty-two poems composed by fifty-two poets throughout the globe, dedicated to India on the occasion of Indian Independence Day falling on August 15, 2023. Through these verses, poets have expressed vivid emotions and feelings towards India and its struggle for independence, paying tribute to great leaders and soldiers and wishing for a better nation in the future. Dr. Sonia Gupta is a poet, writer, author, reviewer, editor and translator. She hails from Dera Bassi, Mohali, Punjab, India. By profession, she is a Dentist (MDS). Her write-ups are published in vivid anthologies, newspapers, journals and magazines. She has edited several poems, articles, papers and anthologies and has translated many poems composed by different poets from the world into English, Hindi and Punjabi languages. She is also fond of painting, singing, dancing, knitting, embroidery, cooking, teaching and reading.
