Hand Book of Bi-Polar Stepper Motor Control

Author Name: Sitangshu Sekhar Biswas, Dr. Sandeep Singh Solanki | Format: Paperback | Genre : Educational & Professional | Other Details

As the world is moving towards automation accuracy plays a key role. The production of any product using automation will be according to the industrial standards if the product is built with perfection. In some cases, this can be achieved by using a stepper motor where accuracy, repeatability, and power are paramount.
There are several types of stepper motor available in the market. This book will mainly learn about bipolar stepper motor, especially NEMA 17 which is popular among others. This motor is small in size and has high holding torque. It converts electrical energy to mechanical energy. We control this motor using the L298d motor driver, but it also has a dedicated motor driver A4998. L298 is a very common driver that can control any type of motor, so let’s try using this. How to change the direction? We are able to do so using the H-bridge available in the motor driver. This is an internal process, we manually control it using push buttons. Can we control the speed? Yes, we can control its speed using a potentiometer. To learn about this in detail read this book ' Hand Book Of Bi-Polar Stepper Motor Control ' by Sitangshu Sekhar Biswas and Dr. Sandeep Singh Solanki.
