Bhakti Randeria
Bhakti is an emerging visual artist, based out of Dubai for the last two decades, but still very much and an Indian at heart.
Art has always been a part of her childhood. Even though she has always been passionate about art, she never took it seriously, until she decided to peruse the certificate course in ‘Fine Arts’ from Sessions college, USA.
She is a proud member of IAVA Association of Visual Artists, and has exhibited her work at the ‘World Art of Dubai (WAD)’ with a series on Nature.
She has previously worked as an illustrator with Paper Paints and Poetry. This has inspired her to start her own book to help to kindle the interest of art in people.
Having an innate interest in all things cultural, she uses her art to represent and express her love for Indian Cultural. Her deep seated desire for chasing her dream of colours never stopped, and she eventually started exploring the magic of colours on different mediums and forms. To Bhakti, art was, is and always will be an expression of herself on the canvas.
And in her journey of colourful explorations, she has attempted to express the art of Meditation through a series of Mandala Art using motives from Indian folk art in this book.
