Hailing from the quiet, beautiful but unbeknownst hills of Kurseong, Darjeeling; Nivedita Baraily is a lover of words, beauty and all things nature. Poetry is that passion that drives her, inspires her and lifts her in difficult times. Graduated as a lawyer in 2018 and on the verge of completion of her LL.M Degree from the Department of Law, University of North Bengal; she decided to follow her passion and compile her very first book of realistic, relatable and relevant poems. She has recently co-authored an anthology, “Excursions from the Mundane”. Apart from writing, she loves to dance. Yet another way of letting go and expressing one’s heart’s desires. After all, it all comes down to emotions, feelings and means to express them.
