Shri Mohan Khanvilkar’s intention behind writing this book is to share his practical knowledge in Human Resources Management (HRM) with the professional managers and students of HRM. In this book, he tried to answer every question that the HR managers are asked to answer. During his total forty-one years of working experience, he served for about seven/eight different organizations at different locations and gained vast experiences in the field of HRM. The experiences that he acquired during his employment includes the subjects viz. human behavioral science, management, Japanese management systems, labour laws, industrial relations, contracts, accounts and administration.

In July 1983, Mr. Khanvilkar began his career in HR management after joining Narmada Cement, a public limited company in the cement industry. While working in Government service, he had also acquired experiences in labour management and administration to some extent. But his real carrier in HRM began when he got the opportunity to do the work of developing the personnel department of Narmada Cement Company at the initial stage under the guidance of senior HR professionals.

Mr. Khanvilkar indirectly gave his advice to the management of all kinds of business organizations, to understand the importance of human resources in achieving the best quality products at enhanced productivity.

His book covered almost all important aspects of human behavior that are responsible for the motivation of the employees at the workplace. Therefore, he believes very confidently that the basic objectives of writing this book are fulfilled to his expectations.
