Dr. Om Raj Katoch has a master’s degree, qualified national eligibility test (NET) in
economics and a doctorate from University of Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. He started
his career in teaching from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University; Katra, J&K. At present
he is working as an Assistant Professor in Govt. Degree Colleges affiliated to University
of Jammu, Department of Higher Education, Jammu & Kashmir government and
presenting heading the Department of Economics, Govt. Degree College Ramban, J&K.
He has twelve years of teaching experience at under graduate level. During his academic
career, he has taught international economics, micro economics, macro economics and
Indian economy etc. He has a good number of articles as well as research papers published
in different journals and magazines. He has attended large number of international &
national conferences/seminars.
