Krishnendu Banik is a third-generation lawyer who changed track to become a corporate trainer and quizmaster. As a corporate quizmaster, he has straddled live, television and radio quizzes in India and abroad for the last twenty years.
After having been a speaker in multiple international youth speech festivals and a Rotary India and USA Exchange Program member, he developed an interest in travelling and collecting and restoring memorabilia.
Today, Krish Banik is a nationally well-known quizmaster and media presenter and his annual quizzes like the IQuation Quiz, Indian Oil Solaris Quiz and United Nation’s Sustainability Quiz have been telecast on satellite channels, while his highly trending FB Live quizzes on Anandabazar.com regularly cross viewership of a hundred thousand.
His quiz columns have been published in The Telegraph, Hindustan Times, The Times of India, The Statesman, The Asian Age and other leading publications.
Krish has also authored the Indian Oil Solaris Quiz Book and is currently hosting Friends School Quiz, the country’s only radio quiz show on 91.9 Friends FM, which has crossed 300 episodes as a popular Sunday morning family show and entered Season 8.
He splits his time between his Kolkata home, which is co-inhabited by a family of clever cats, and his studio apartment on the Yamuna Expressway.
