Dr. Aminul Islam Laskar did his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Regional Engineering College Silchar (presently National Institute of Technology Silchar, India). He did his Master of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and PhD form Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He has authored 02 text books in Civil Engineering viz. Concrete Technology (Published by Laxmi Publications (P) limited New Delhi), and Concrete Technology Practices (Published by Narosa Publishers, New Delhi).
Formerly, he was Head, Civil Engineering Department, Dean (Faculty Welfare) and Dean (Planning and Development). Currently he is a Professor in Civil Engineering in National Institute of Technology Silchar, India and has about 33 years of experience in academics. He has guided many PhDs and Master’s dissertation and has more than 50 journal publications of International repute.
