This collection of poems, rather stories in the form of poems took shape when the poet and the photographer duo had chugged away cheap beer an entire evening, in search of the perfect story, only to understand that there are stories in abundance around them, which need to be told. Stories which are forgotten and yearn to be heard. Even as you are trying to decipher the photos and the stories behind the words, this duo is probably sauntering on some lost street, trying to listen and see the story it has to tell.

Aritra Chakrabarty: Aritra Chakrabarty is an author who likes to put words into stories that happen to us. His first publication was a collection of Hindi poems, “Khyaal, Kissey, Kahaniyaan” published in 2018. He has gone to publish another anthology of short stories, later on. By his own admission, a story that takes time is a moving picture, just like watching cinema based on someone’s life. He is a post-graduate in economics by discipline and has been working for over nine years as a social consultant, helping clients in meeting sustainability goals. Travelling is part of his work, which helps him gather stories from different paths of life. On a weekend evening, he can be found in Mumbai, loitering among the chaos, trying to pick up a story.
Ishan Choudhary: Ishan is a communications professional with over sixteen years of experience and armed with a diverse skill-set and experience across various kinds of organisational setups. He loves travelling & adapts well to changing situations & demands as per the needs of a particular project. Ishan is known to be blunt and not shy away from opportunities of interventions, wherever required. He is a self-taught photographer and has a keen eye for nature photography. Curious, inquisitive about life, Ishan aspires to become a travel writer someday.
