Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalDemonstrating Emotional Intelligence in an Interview
Emotional intelligence (EI), often referred to as emotional quotient (EQ), is a critical set of skills that can significantly influence a candidate's success in an interview. It encompasses the ability to understand and manage one's own emotions, as well as to perceive and influence the emotions of others. While not always explicitly tested, interviewers often look for subtle and overt signs of EI. Candidates can demonstrate their emotional intelligence through various behaviors and communication styles throughout the interview process.
