The first section of the book contains a collection of 15 articles on various issues and occasions involving both secular and spiritual themes. These are not deep research articles but popular writings expressing the author’s views, thoughts, emotions, and reflections on the mentioned topic or issue. The second section contains 11 poems on various themes - gratitude, love, values, etc. The articles and poems are arranged chronologically to bring out the emotions attached to the time and place.
N Samuel Douminthang Baite
N. Samuel Douminthang Baite is the second son of (L) Mr. Thomas Lhunkhojam Baite and Mrs. Elizabeth Nenglam Baite from New Keiphom Village, Chandel District, Manipur, India.
He passed his matriculation from St. Joseph’s High School, Sugnu, and did his higher secondary studies at Liberal College, Luwangsangbam, Imphal. He graduated from Don Bosco College, Maram, under Manipur University and secured 8th Rank in English Honours. He did his MSW from Loyola College Chennai (Autonomous) under Madras University. It was at this crucial period of his academic career that he lost his beloved father on 7th January 2013. He completed Master of Philosophy in Social Work from Mizoram University, Aizawl and holds a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work from the same university. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Divine Mercy College, Bawngkawn, Aizawl. He is a life member of the Indian Society of Professional Social Work, Kuki Research Forum, and Mizoram Professional Social Workers Association. Apart from his research work and teaching, he loves writing popular articles and poems addressing various issues and themes.
