Mohammad Afsar Alam

Mohammad Afsar Alam earned his BA, MA, MPhil, and PhD degrees from Aligarh Muslim University. In teaching and publication, Dr. Afsar began his career at the Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT), Eritrea, in 2005 as an Assistant Professor. He later joined the Adi-keih College of Arts and Social Sciences in 2010. He has been serving as a Geographer in various colleges and universities abroad for the last 19 years. Dr. Afsar enjoyed the administrative position of Head of the Department and Research Coordinator in the Department of Geography (2012-2015) at Adi-keih College of Arts and Social Sciences, Eritrea. He has richly contributed to academia. Albeit specialized in Micro-level planning and Rural Development, he is currently working extensively on global climate change; his area of interest includes Human geography, Physical geography, Geomorphology, Climatology, Tourism geography, Biogeography and Oceanography. He has been rendering his services as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Science, Fiji National University, Fiji.
