AUTHOR INTRODUCTION
Mahi describes herself as a crazy English teacher who is loved by her students. She is blessed to have wonderful and happy children around her. She is passionate and innovative in her classroom and her children feel safe, comfortable and connected. She writes to be able to express herself creatively. Her thoughts and ideas are liberal and modern and the setting of her stories are contemporary; sometimes rural sometimes urban.
This is her third book and her first non- fiction venture. She has already published two anthologies named Memoirs- a collection of short stories and Blue God and other stories which have been appreciated widely. She is looking forward to an even better reception of her third book as she has already created a niche and is growing with each book. She has had many years of teaching experience in India and abroad. She loves to travel and enjoys different cultures. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music; mostly Ghazals, old Hindi songs and English country music. She enjoys the natural flora and fauna of the world. Concrete jungles and trendy fashions are not her cup of tea as she believes in simple living and a humble existence.
She has a son who shares a beautiful bond of friendship with his mom and a husband who is a perfect soulmate because...you know, opposites attract!!
