Books and stories have always been an integral part of Vanaja’s life. In a career spanning 22 years in marketing and advertising, Vanaja considers her ability to build motivated and talented teams to be her biggest strength. As an extension of this passion for people and their growth, she continues to work towards a world, where women are well represented at every level and in every field, and younger women are enabled and empowered to live an un-discriminated and level-play life. She currently consults with the DDB Group on their women’s leadership and performance programs.

Vanaja graduated at the top of Delhi University in English Literature in 1996, and went on to study Management at the KJ Somaiya Institute in Mumbai.

She lives in Bangalore with her husband and pet dog, and enjoys experiencing the world through the refreshing senses of her two nieces and nephew.
