Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalEach poem is like a pebble. A pebble too was made with the elements of nature, each one having its own story, just like how a poem is created out of inspirations from nature or love, or the destruction of both.
Poems are written on different subjects - being, love, loss, nature, mysticism, and wanderlust.
The poet writes lucidly and vividly. A life longing for beauty and enchantment can be seen in these poems. Written on a journey of self-discovery through poetry, it takes you out of the material world in search of a life beyond the mundane to magic. Pebbles on the Beach, is a collection of poems straight from the heart.
SUBHANA SAWHNY
Subhana is a commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai and currently lives in Mumbai. A nature lover, a gypsy, these are reflected in her debut book of poems, Pebbles on the Beach.
She is just as enthralled traveling as she is discovering new places, whether it is having tea in one of the tucked away Iranian cafes in Mumbai or wandering in a crowded bazaar, or even a quaint street in a far-off corner of the world.
Having lived in the Middle East for several years, the desert sands still lives through her veins; the sands, she believes, whispers, secrets that she is still carrying, prompting the Bedouin in her to travel to different corners of the world in search of discoveries, pathways and hearing tales of yesterday, all being inspirations for her poems and stories.
