Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalPoems - Not me !
Those who have their brains wired to be logic-driven and structured, often give less importance to art, creativity, and poetry. There is an illusion that the creative side is not so important when it comes to solving the problem that we have in our lives; be it personal or professional. Nourishment to the right side of the brain is equally important. to improve cognitive thinking. This book is a small attempt to convert those, who do not have any poetic inclination, by seeding a creative mindset through poems.
Poems - Still not my cup of tea?
Here is poetry from the book that perhaps might be for you.
Miles away from Poetic art,
It doesn’t suit my cart
Never I did get what it meant,
Nor worth my time that’s spent
Always away from Poetry,
For a paltry time, I’m free
In the midst of life’s warmth and cold,
Some words never unfold
I rarely get the plot correct;
I’ve no time to reflect
But this one was a bit different,
and perhaps pertinent
If you find yourself in the middle or edges of this poem, you have already started building interest in poems. Poetry possesses the power to pause a few of those hundreds of thoughts crossing our busy minds to reminisce, reflect, and dwell into the beauty of hidden moments. To unlock the potential of lateral thinking it is important to nurture the right part of the brain as well. Reading and musing on poems act as additional nourishment to the neurons, thereby keeping the artistic side as agile as the logical side

Ramesh Hatapaki is a budding poet from Mumbai, India who believes that indulging in any art form is important to keep the creative side of the brain as agile as the logical side.
From his schooling days, he has been inspired by 12th Century social reformer, Sri Basaveshwar’s writings in form of Vachanas in Kannada and couplets of Kabir and Rahim in form of Dohes.
An introvert by nature, he is a qualified Textile Engineer with a Six Sigma Black Belt. He likes to weave his thoughts and feelings in a rhyme that evolves into Poetry. He actively started writing poems from the year 2021 amidst the pandemic.
Through his books, he aims to seed interest in Poetry amongst those who don’t read Poems. Amongst various forms of art, Poems have the power to pause the pace of innumerable thoughts that cross our minds in this fast-paced world. Poems only provide a small fragment of input, and the brain excavates moments from the reader’s personal memoir. Poems, he believes would help individuals nurture their creative skills.
He writes his poems on social media platforms.
