Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalPoetry is the soulful expression of ideas. And when expression is concerned with age-old predicaments such as voicing the unvoiced issues of women then the relevance of poetry goes manifold. The anthology, "Polyphony of Women's Odeyssey" altogether echoes the polyphonic voices of sixty-five poets across the globe. This anthology is woven with the threads of the poet's individual echo manifesting their emotions and thoughts into words and creating the spectrum of hope for fulgent in stygian. The compilation accesses the multifarious depiction of women's distinct identity taking their journey from being a child to being a mother then as an individual. Some poets have celebrated women as true saviours of humanity or one among the many reasons for their happiness whereas few other poets have portrayed the plights and sufferings of women down the ages. Writers with their colouring of vivid imagination lift off the pages of this anthology in multi-faceted contents with the simplicity of style to convey their ideas more clearly and coherently. Their myriad voices are women's crescent sunshine in the aurora; wherein women sing wondrous in blithe and heads always forward from their glooming plight.
