Shashank is a professional with more than twenty four years of experience in the IT industry and has worked with several global companies. An alumnus of prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, he got his Master's degree in Physics and Electronics in 1990, but chose to pursue career in the field of IT. Currently he is working at a senior manager level with a global IT Services company, and has been managing people for different types of projects and operations for more than sixteen years. Employee motivation is a subject of his interest. He feels motivation is an integral part of an individual’s growth, both in personal and professional life. This idea spurred his interest in the topic, and several years of experience and study has resulted into this book.
He currently lives in Ottawa, Canada with his wife, while their daughter is graduating from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Besides writing and providing training and guidance to the people, he enjoys watching sports and musical programs on TV.
