Poetry has always been the simplest form of expressing emotions for me. As a teenager I began writing poetry influenced by nature, love, art, travel, knowledge etc. Through the course of the book, a difference in scheme of representation will be observed as these poems have been written through various transformative phases of my personal growth.
I have thought of writing a book since I was a child. As days went into weeks, weeks into months and months into years. I finally decided to get my book published.
Published for the people living in the world.
Published for the people struggling in life
Published for the young generation to overcome their fears and achieve their goals.
After having presented my work on social platforms on manifold occasions, I wish for it to extend to as many readers and poetry lovers as possible. And as a step in that direction, I bring forward to you, Qissay e qalb ( قصہء قلب ).

I am khalida Ashiq D/0 of Ashiq Hussain Raina and shakeela begum...I was born in village trummnard_ batpora hyhama, district Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir...I completed my graduation from govt Womens college Kupwara... currently I'm pursuing my masters in political science from Kashmir University...I have recently given my write ups in Writers desk and loved working with them..
As a growing child,,, I was obsessed with poetry. I have passion for Urdu literature and poetry. I feel that poetry is zenith of my soul and its something which puts me at the highest level of vulnerability but at the same time it enhances my power of being strong...
I am a self taught poet and I can't find a better version of mine other than being poet... During my childhood i used to write a diary and named it sila, and used to share my emotions and thoughts with that diary...I continued my journey as a poet with the pen name sila...
I would like to thank my family for always supporting and encouraging sila...
