After retirement from the Indian army, I was recollecting my eventful service. I was born in a small village in the southern end of India. Serving in Arunachal Pradesh was a great surprise for me, especially the encounter with an elephant was memorable.

Do ghosts exist or not? Still, some people don’t accept the existence of ghosts. My conversation with a ghost is an example of its existence.

Another place of work is a desert in Rajasthan, where I escaped from the dangerous desert dogs, and the experience was unforgettable.

Lt Col AS Arunachalam was born in a small village near Tuticorin, the southern part of India. Though he was interested in education, he could not complete his graduation due to poor family conditions. He joined the Indian Army on 9 November 1971 and retired on 30 June 2008. During his entire service, he almost served all border areas of India. During his service in Army, he encountered many animals, which has been penned down in this book.
