Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe whole world today is in lockdown and people are into places they never wanted to be in. Self-help books or whatever medium you choose, we create as writers or speakers takes a lot of effort. Many of them say, they don’t help and leave you depressed. Be it any medium a book, social media or whatever, we share what we relate to. Sometimes we keep complaining so much that we forget to count the things which we have. We humans have been complaining always about not getting time. Today while they have a lot of it, we still complain.
While we are locked down, some in homes and some away from home. We need to know the importance of the things we have despite the ones which we don’t. A life that is less social and more real, which all of us should be grateful for. While we talk of humanity and peace, we need to act like humans first. This is a time to be utilized to rise within and Rise Above.

Hello Readers,
This is Smita Patil and this is my first ever attempt to write a book. I was supposed to write my medical exams but as the whole world is in lockdown, I thought I’d do this. I always wanted to do something before I became a Doctor—as we all know it’s a long journey. All these years I wanted to do something and never knew what it was. Then the Lockdown happened! Two full months of doing nothing but thinking deeply, and an idea struck me.
There’s a quote I now believe is true, ‘Dreams don’t often come to you screaming, they sometimes just whisper in your Ear’. The same happened to me. And Life is what happens to you when you’re planning different things. Yet few things come from experiences they say. Realizations are worth when explained and accepted, I believe. Few of them I penned down into a book which I feel could be very useful. This quarantine when the whole world thought of taking onto new hobbies I chose my old one. Words are powerful when used to change lives. This is one of those attempts of mine. More than appreciation I would like this piece to be accepted first!
