Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal
A little girl is standing in front of the door, scared to either go inside or walk away. She grips the alcohol bottle; it looks like an alcohol bottle from the outside, but inside, it is filled with normal water.
She was thinking about whether or not she should give the bottle to her father. Earlier, he had given her money to buy beer in the middle of the night, but when she went to buy it, the shops were closed. So, she found an empty bottle on the street, filled it with pond water, and sealed the bottle with a cap.
When she came home, she regretted doing it and started to think about whether or not she should give her father the bottle or come up with an excuse. Either way, she knew she would face harsh punishment
After much deliberation and with her body shivering from the cold night air, she decided to throw the bottle away and tell her father an excuse. However, before she could toss the bottle into a nearby bush, the door revealed her father, who appeared intoxicated and smelled bad.
Where have you been, you insolent person? I've been waiting for hours," he said as his saliva hit her face. "I'm sorry, there was a long queue, that's why I'm late," she responded. He coughed in response and forcefully took the bottle from her small hands.
