Born in 1998, Niharika V Jain is an emerging writer. She is an engineering student pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore. She completed her schooling and pre-university course in Shimoga, Karnataka. She carries in her a sense of excitement and determination to fulfill the demands of poetry lovers. Her interests includes reading magazines and books on scientific facts as well as comics, travelling, badminton, abacus, being a linguist among other things. She began writing her book during her school days as she used to win many writing competitions. Shades- The Absence of Ignorance is her first book of poetry.
