Dr.Ram Singh Sachem

The author, Dr.Ram Singh Sachem (b. 1945), after having earned Master‟s (1966) and Doctorate (1970) Degrees in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi , pursued his academic career in different capacities as teacher, researcher and extension specialist at G.B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pant Nagar (Uttarakhand, India), in Technical University, Hannover (Germany, 1975-76) and at A.B.University, Zaria (Nigeria, 1982-85).He co-authored two books and more than 150 research papers and technical articles mainly in the field of soil science, plant nutrition and fertilizer management.
