Anmol Rathore

Anmol Rathore is in the fourth year of the 5-year B.A. LL.B. (hons.) programme at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. Born in a small valley town of Jammu & Kashmir, she has always been intrigued by certain elements that were representative of her hometown, be it the red Chinar of the autumn or the snow that covered it every winter or the violence that has engulfed it since.

Poetry became a means of catharsis for the author to channel her pain and happiness alike, and by putting her feelings to paper, she has created a beautiful collection of verses that shall clearly resonate with anyone who has ever dealt with love, loss, grief, and heartbreak. She is an avid reader and has had a knack of poetry since she was quite young. She published her first collection of poetry entitled An Unknown Face in 2012, at the mere age of 13 years.
