Abhijeet Bhattacharya, is an academician by profession but a poet by passion. Born in a middle-class Bengali family of professionals like doctors and engineers, imbibed appreciation of literary works. Father with a defence background and a proactive mother, instilled values blend with finer emotions, nurtured him into a rational person.
Raised in cosmopolitan defence campuses, ingrained in him a profound respect and acceptance of varied perspectives, sparked a poet in him. Later, a major part of his professional career was spent in multicultural metro cities, made him pensive and sensitive to life’s experiences, further harnessing his poetic flair.
Completing his master’s in Biological Sciences and English literature, veered him into marketing and academic profession. Accruing two decades of rendezvous enriched experience in pedagogic pursuits, continued to inspire his thoughts in poetry. This distinctive blend of academics, marketing and social engagement, makes him an author with a distinctive voice resonating deep insight in his lucid verses.
